Flickering / flashing / blinking to black screen nitro 5 AN515-42-R25P

My friends acer nitro 5 screen is having issues where the screen would flicker to black or almost black and the screen ( from how I can see if looks like the backlight is the problem since the screen is still on just super dim and you can somewhat still see what’s on the screen but only just ) not sure what to do, we tried everything we could think of to solve this but still no luck. We think it is hardware as it only flickers when moved around or moved in a way and left that way etc and the flickering only stops after moved in an certain angle. any suggestions? The model number is the AN515-42-R25P

ch​eck if there is a pin 📌hole at the bottom of the unit. Put a small pin inside and press and hold the pin for 30sec.  If there is no pin hole then press the power button for 12sec. Remember to remove your charger when you do that.
