My Acer Aspire E5-476 laptop is plugged in but not charging. It keep remains at the same battery level, not increasing. The orange light keep blinks when I unplug my charger.I had tried to press the little hole behind the laptop but its not working. Is there any other way to solve this problem?

    (1) Open Device Manager. Click batteries folder. Right click and uninstall all drivers you find in this folder. Then exit Device Manager without re-installing anything. Shut down Window normally.

    (2) Remove charger. Then re-insert paperclip into reset pinhole again for 60 seconds while at the same time pressing and holding the power button.

    (3) Plug the charger back in and wait  for the battery charge LED to turn from steady orange to steady blue. This may take up to 8 hours

    (4) Try to turn machine on again

    Hi yinling,

    # Try to update the battery driver

    1. Hold windows key and hit letter X.
    2. Choose the device manager option.
    3. Go with the option battery.
    4. Under the title battery.

    5. Right click on that option ----> Update all driver under the title battery.
    6. Choose "search automatically".

Check this T/S and post the result.
