The Nitro 5 & it's FRUSTRATING "Special Keys" ( # @ \ ")

The Hashtag key # aswell as other keys move around the keyboard - sometimes where it should be (shift + 3) but at other times it's next to the Enter key ( a new key) added by some Acer smart alick!
I'm curious if I'm the only person with this issue ???
also, the @ key ... normally (Shift + 2) but it's featured next to the new # key alongside the Enter key ...
also, where is the \ forward-slash.. it is currently where the new # key is ...
also the " key is not the (Shift + 2) key as it says it is ... it is where the (shift @) key is along the new # key
does anyone know where the pound key is? I can't find it... it says it should be shift 3 but it's not .... the hunt continues!

I'd love an ACER tech wizard to please respond to be honest

I love my Acer Nitro 5 - but I use these special keys in my passwords and it's incredibly frustrating when I have to be extra cautious to avoid entering the wrong password because the keys move around!

No I'm using the Laptop, as it came out of the box... is there an Acer Keyboard software download maybe?

Model Number N20C1 - I haven't nor would I want to use an external Keyboard... why I bought a laptop

I do wish #acersupport would assist... I see they VERY quiet LOL

About using the external keyboard, it would just be to check if the problem remains, also typing on an external keyboard. If the problem also occurs when typing on an external keyboard, it means it is a problem with windows and not with the laptop keyboard.

I have the same issue… can’t find the solution here…

I found the Solution... change the Keyboard layout to GB / UK (GB, US, intl, ES)
this solved my issue... why the laptop came out the box with a different country assigned heaven knows... but play around with the Keyboard options to see which one solves it for you... My keys are now Exactly where the buttons say they are! suuuuper happy now

what is GB/UK(GB, US, intl, ES)?

This is the type of Keyboard layout.
Either Brittish layout, or United States or Spannish etc... so play around with these so see which lines the buttons up correctly ... BUT, thus will not make it like a "Normal Keyboard layout that we are mostly all used to" this Acer Keyboard is wierd and takes some getting used to... My friend used my Acer laptop this past weekend and phoned me to ask what's wrong with the Keyboard... so it is the laptop it has a wierd layout!! but just try get the keys to line up with what they display I've set my Keyboard to ENGLISH (United Kingdom layout) and it works the best
