@4too if you have a seal/sticker on your ram compartment yes it will void the warranty as thats the shop where you got it they usually put the stickers wherever they want to to avoid customers upgrading and having to pay them to make the upgrades its nothing to do with acer themselves its the sellers but but yes you will void it in the sellers view acer usually (in the countries they use warranty stickers) they are usually in one of the chassis screws to avoid the customer opening the laptop not on the ram/drive compartment when this one its accessible from the outside ;again bare in mind any breakage of any seals/stickers no matter where they are will void the warranty might not be directly with acer but with the seller/shop that will refuse to send it and will report it to acer good luck :)

so that means I need to reconfirm with the store first before opening it?
and one more thing, if I still can't open it due to the warranty (already bought the ram tho T.T), do I need to go to the Acer center?

Exactly it should be a store warranty sticker not acer as i said acer warranty stickers are usually over the chassis screws not on any outside upgrade options like ram etc  if they say you cant open it get them to install your ram and reseal it just make sure you dont break any seal/sticker even if someone says its fine check with the store manager to be sure
