Hi, all.

Are there any instructions on how to remove the bottom panel of the Triton Predator 300SE? I have been unable to find a repair or service manual, just the user guide.

After removing all the visible screws around the edge, it's not clear how to remove the panel and expose the access to SSD and RAM.

Thanks!

After some experimentation with a shim and a pry tool, I was able to successfully start the separation at the rear of the laptop near the hinge, work my way around to the front edge, and then complete from the opposite side.

@Sparklejinx just bare in mind all tritons have inverted mobos so in order to get to the ram/ssd to upgrade you have to completely disassemble everything removing the mobo (turn it over) as its in the other side of the mobo facing the keyboard side keyboard good luck :)

Hmm, seems that's different on this model: I found that one the bottom panel was removed, the SSD and RAM sockets are easily accessible, as seen in this review of the Predator Triton 300 SE

@Sparklejinx maybe they have gone back to normal i havent checked the tritons service manuals since 2019/20  and i remember they were inverted (at least the 500) very hard to upgrade many ppl complaining about it so thats  great new for the end users easy upgrade for those who dont have warranty stickers/seals :)

So, as far I can see, the only way to upgrade the SSD is getting rid of the original one?

I was hopping for an empty M.2 slot so I can add a second SSD… :-(
