When I connect an Anker 8-in1 USB-C PD 10Gbps Data Hub (PowerExpand 8-in-1 USB-C PD 10Gbps Data Hub - Anker) to the USB 3.2 C gen1 port on the Acer laptop, then I can use the USB ports on the Hub.  But I can not use the HDMI port on the Hub.  Anker want me to ask Acer if the USB-C port on the laptop is supporting DP Alt Mode. Does it?  If it does not, are there then other parts of the USB 3.2 Gen1 specifications that the Acer USB-C port does not support?  It seems to me as a mess that you can not reed the information in the specification of the laptop.

The USB-C on your model acts like a normal USB port, no display output for that port.

I agree with @AnhEZ28, no display output.
