Alright so first thing first, I haven't got a bloody clue what I'm doing just thought I'd wing it.
Brought the Samsung SSD 980 500GB NVMe M.2 off amazon, watched a few vids on youtube now hes in, sorted.
Cant find the thing anywhere. ive tried the safe boot thing and everyting else i can find but still nothing. is it because its in the second slot? or is the ssd just not compatible

Should be supported, sometimes nvme's can be finiky with their instaltion and you may need to re-seat it :) easy way to check is mash f2 on boot and you should see the drive in the bios , if you don't re-seat

Once it shows in the bios, you may need to initialise the disk, head to start - disk management and you should be able to then format the disk
