Excel 365 "Stop Responding" error message then when fan kicks in - Acer Aspire 5

Hi All, I have this issue where Excel takes a long time to respond if I do a save or insert/delete a line in a table.

Even with Calculation set to manual, it takes an eternity.

I suspect that Excel throws up the Not Responding message because the computer has to kick into gear and do something. 100% of the time, I can hear the fan kick in and then Excel will continue with the task.

On a very frequent basis, Excel tells me that it finds error and cant save the file.

I have used the same file on a old Toshiba Satelite Laptop without any problems.

Has anybody had any issues using a Acer Aspire 5, Core i5 when using Excel 365?
I am running an 32inch Acer ED2 Series external monitor and have 20GB of RAM, using SSD hard drive.

My fault diagnosis includes....

1. Rebuilding the file from scratch
2. Reinstalled Office 365
3. In Excel, Open and Repair a file
4. At every opportunity in the code, Calculation is set to manual, Screen updating is turned off, events are turned off
5. Changing anything and everything I can find in the hardware/firmware settings to prevent the Acer from powering down
6. I was looking at whether BIOS needs an upgrade from Acer, but that requires considerable more research.

I strongly suspect there is an issue between Excel 365 and the Acer Aspire 5, Core i5.
This issue has moved from being inconvenient to critical.....
I welcome any feedback and advice that the users in this forum may have experienced that can be shared.

Regards

it will show you the list of programs
remove all the unwanted third party programs.
    Please don’t remove any drivers.
If you are not sure , please don’t remove it.    If antivirus is the cause of the issue you can always remove it from here..

Delete the items which are checked

Try windows x - on the menu - chose command prompt admin or power shell admin
    click on yes
on the blue or black window  type sfc /scannow
It will be running till 100 %

Try to do a chrome reset if chrome is installed on your computer.
    open chrome
click on three dots on top right corner
    click on settings
Scroll down - go to advanced
click on restore setting to default
you will see reset settings - cancel
    click on reset settings
    Open chrome
    it will work faster now

Some times antivrus might be the cause of the issue..   You can uninstall it to speed up the computer and then you can reload it.

If it is still not working you can always do refresh ( keep my files )  or reset  ( remove everything) on  your computer to make it to work faster..

Try windows + r - on the run window  - please type appwiz.cpl

    chose the office 365 program

click on change - try to do a quick and online repair.
