Acer Spin 713's touch screen disables other monitor (Dell monitor)

I got this Chromebook recently and I noticed an issue. When I flip the computer to go into Tablet Mode, my second monitor doesn't show anything. I haven't quite figured out how to put a tab on another screen while in Tablet Mode and how to keep it there. If I go to the Home space on the Chromebook, it minimizes the tab on the other screen. Additionally, I can't do anything on the tab on the second monitor. So if I wanted to click a link or skip a song and its tab was on the other monitor, I couldn't.
I don't know if I could solve one of my problems by getting a mouse and not solely relying on the touch pad, but if that would help, I can get a mouse.
Thank you.

When you connnect your mouse, keyboard  or any other devices it switches to regular mode on chromebook..

If you want to use the chromebook in tablet mode please disconnect the external devices and start using it in tablet mode.

If you want to use the external monitor on chromebook please use it in regular mode.
