"base system device" not installed (AN515-54)

i have acer nitro 5 w/ i5-9300h, gtx 1050, 8gb ram. replaced original 256gb ssd with new 500gb ssd. model (AN515-54)
I did a clean install of win10 yesterday and checked device manager to see if everything is installed correctly and I saw that the Base System Device has a warning symbol on it. searched online and saw another reddit post (https://www.reddit.com/r/techsupport/comments/lngzm0/base_system_device_driver_missing/) with the same situation and similar hardware ids for my base system device. 
here are the Hardware IDs for my device-

access Windows update. Then click on optional updates and install all drivers.
