I just got my laptop serviced from acer service center. But, still I am facing heating issues while playing games like RDR2.

My CPU and nvidia-GPU temps were constantly around 95 C.

After setting the maximum CPU in power settings at 99%.
Now CPU temps are around (75-80) C
But still the nvidia-GPU temps are around (85-90) C.
What should I do?

PS: I barely get 35-40 FPS while playing.

    1. Place the laptop on an even surface, like a table and not your bed or lap. This helps in proper flow of air into the laptop.
    2. Make sure laptop air vents are not blocked

Replace the thermal paste with a new one.
Elevate the laptop a little when gaming (game in a flat surface).
    Set fans to max
Do not run any background services

Here are some tips also mention your specs and model in a post
The main reason I think is because of the bad thermal paste.

@Pdawg so you have basically transformed your gaming laptop in a core i3 by disabling the turbo boost (thats what happens it will not boost over the base clock)  optimize your windows properly and undervolt (check my signature) and if still needed repaste it with kryonaut or similar clean the fans and exit airflow and keep the back lifted at all times 2/3" for a proper airflow if youre able to without voiding your warranty or send it back to get it repasted with stock paste good luck :)

PS: no need to set any fans to max the fans should run always on auto coolboost on to increase the lifespan of the same
