I'm an audio engineer and cannot have some system-wide EQ app coloring all of the sound coming out of my system, and therefore must disable Acer TrueHarmony entirely. (This laptop was purchased by my company and not one that I selected myself; had I known this software was built-in, I never would have selected it.) I've read many threads on this and other forums about finding/disabling TrueHarmony, and they all either reference Waves MaxxAudio, which does not exist on this system, or a TrueHarmony tab in the sound control panel, which also does not exist. I've uninstalled/reinstalled the drivers listed
here, the zip marked "Audio Driver" contained the expected realtek wizard but the one marked "audio console driver" contained a mess of .appx and .cmd files, all of which get blocked by my antivirus software. I've also made sure that Predator Sense is updated to the latest version, and there is no TrueHarmony or Waves MaxxAudio listed in the App Center tab as some have suggested.
I just want this thing off my computer so I can get some work done. Will uninstalling Predator Sense also remove TrueHarmony? I know TrueHarmony is active because selecting different presets alters how the output sounds.
