Predator Helios 300 | G3-571-77QK DC Input Jack Issues?

Hey there!

I have an older Acer Predator that still has some life in it. The input jack for the power won't charge unless I angle the cable a certain way.

I have replaced the AC Adapter and even went in and replaced the DC input jack several times hoping it was the issue. But the problem persists.

If the AC adapter and DC input jack aren't the issue... what else could it be? Wasn't sure if there was some other component that would be the problem. Or perhaps I ordered the incorrect charger or DC jack.

If I angle it correctly it will charge and the battery still works. But if I bump it ever so slightly it will cut off and stop charging.

Going to Acer support they wanted to charge 500 - 700 right off the bat which is close to what I paid for the laptop...
