Is there a cmdline/kernel mod/bios modification that anyone knows about that I can utilize to disable the kernel loading of the integrated gpu (iGPU)?

I am using Clear Linux. CL doesn't support the usual linux techniques of utilizing nVidia offloading very well. There is a method by one user that seems promising, but i need to disable the iGPU before the kernel gets loaded. The usual way for Optimus devices to do this is through the BIOS. Acer ended development of the Predator 17 long ago, and I doubt they will care to add this vital functionality to the BIOS. I'm open to BIOS modding or any other proposed solutions including getting offloading working correctly. A pointer toward modifying this particular BIOS will also be helpful.
