Hi. I've got the Helios Predator 300 laptop which has a screen resolution of 1920x1080. I use an external monitor that is also 1920x1080 but I'd like to upgrade it to a QHD monitor (2560x1440) but want to be sure it will work.

Also, I've been using an HDMI cable which works great, but would a mini DP cable be better? Any help appreciated. Thanks.

    Hi Creolejazz,

Do you have a VGA port.

I assume you mean on the monitor. Yes, there is a VGA port on the monitor.

if your graphic card support that resolution, then you can do it

Thanks so much. That is the answer I was hoping for. I've got the RTX 2060 so I should be good.

but for gaming it's can be less fps, because of high resolution, so you will need lower some graphics in games.
    good luck :)

I'm considering buying the Asus TUF VG34VQL1B, it's a a hundred sixty five hertz screen with a resolution of 3440x1440, it has hdmi 2.Zero and show port as you can see. Will my Nitro five AN515-fifty five (1660 ti and i5) be capable of run this reveal to its full capability or am i simply losing my cash.
