Concept D 5 Pro CN515 :- Legacy BIOS Needed for Linux Centos

Hi,

I have purchased a Concept D 5 Pro (CN515-71P-7774)  1TB SSD Laptop and need to install Centos Linux on for my app.

Centos does not see the disk when installing via USB.

It looks like I need Legacy boot in the bios for this to happen.

I can only see UEFI with no alternative. I have searched a few forums and cannot see any resolution.

Is there a particular BIOS I need to install or are these fixed with only UEFI ?

Any help appreciated

probably set to RAID in the bios - change it to AHCI then the centos installer should see the disk (assuming you're not dual booting 'cause the change might screw up the other already installed OS).

Either sata mode needs to be ahci rather than raid or RST, or if you have something like vmd controller it needs to be off

To get those settings you may need to press cntrl and s on the main tab in the UEFI a few times, it then spears in another tab
