Hello,
I'm asking you help regarding a rather weird problem. My Acer Nitro 5 battery is 100% full but its charging led doesn't turn blue. It keep blinking orange. My computer is functioning well, I turn it off an on and battery still full. Idk why the led does not turned blue as before.

    Hey @Scaletho

If the battery led indicator is blinking orange, that can also refer to abnormal battery situation, maybe not. Try these out, turn off the unit, unplug the charger from the computer, press and hold the power button for 10 seconds (we reset the battery by doing this). Plug in the charger, keep tapping F2 repeatedly while turning on the computer to land in BIOS settings, Load default settings by tapping F9 and press Enter to confirm, then save changes and exit. See if it worked, if not, no problem, one more step, go to device manager, select battery, under battery, uninstall both the devices, click on uninstall and do not check mark the uninstall drivers option. once done, restart the computer.

Many Thanks for the tips, @Tachi13 . For my regret it doesn't work. After I loaded the BIOS default setting my notebook's battery led turned blue but just for few seconds before goes back to blinking orange. The device manager tip doesn't change the situation.
Perhaps if I upgrade my BIOS?

    Sure, @Scaletho

Enter your SNID or SN here. Go to the drivers and try updating the BIOS. If loading default settings made changes, it may improve with BIOS update. Let's see if that yields results.

@Tachi13 I'm having the same problem but I'm not sure how to update my BIOs...

That's the system I'm currently using and I did all the steps that you posted up top. I'm sure my laptop is charging but it's still blinking for some reason.. This has happened before but it always fixed itself after a restart or just by itself without me doing anything.

I also had a problem in my AN515-52 with the charge indicator flickering, although the battery was charged (after replacing with a new battery) Tried pressing the battery button, resetting the BIOS. It helped to completely discharge the battery so that the laptop turned itself off, after that I fully charged it to 100%. Now the indicator is blue and the problem is gone.
