Bought this Aspire A515-46-R14k laptop a few days ago. As I used Powershell to get the powercfg /batteryreport  Win 10 failed to recognized the command several times. The backslashes of the path became Chinese/Japanese Yen signs. Don't get me wrong, I have not changed the Language settings in Win 10.

Eventually I ran Powershell as administrator and input the command all in upper case letters to get the batteryreport done.

Anyone has seen something like this, similar problem or get idea to fix it?

Thanks.

Nobody seemed to have similar issue and no response so far.

After a month and half and I ran the the powercfg / battery report again and this time the issue was gone. I have done some Windows update and Acer driver update during this period, didn't know which one fixed the problem.
