Hi Guys I have a Acer Vetrion M670 with a Pentium (R) Core 2 Duo processor E5200 2.50GHz and I would like to upgrade to a Core i7 processor for gaming purposes is it possible?

    You can 100% upgrade the cpu in your Acer Vetrion M670 from the Socket 775 Intel Pentium E5200 CPU2.5 GHz to a Socket 775 Core 2 Duo E8600 3.333 GHz that will give you about 40% relative performance to your E5200 but I would also update the DDR3-SDRAM RAM and do a Crucial System Scan as this desktops max RAM is 8GB but do the scan as it will tell you the top and fastest RAM modules suitable for your desktop and also fit a 2.5” SSD and also fit a dedicated gpu like the NVIDIA GT1030 or Radeon HD 7450 etc and improve its PSU from its OEM 300W if your gpu requires it, as all these upgrades will make your desktop a very handy platform for Win-10 instead of what it was designed for which is windows Vista, if you want to go to this level as just upgrading the cpu will do nothing. .
