Power-off USB charging feature Nitro AN517-41

I got a fresh Nitro AN517-41 laptop and, since I don't want/need power-off USB charging feature, I downloaded Acer Quick Access and disabled it in the options but it doesn't work. Devices connected to that port are still working, shine or charge when the laptop is powered off. I also disabled Fast startup in Windows power options but that didn't helped either. Tried to install Quick Access and start it as administrator, same thing. What I also noticed is that Bluelight shield option in Quick Access doesn't work either. Does anybody knows about the working solution for this, maybe some registry tweak? Tnx

    Hi @Kobredabre

To change your USB port's power settings, you need to open the device manager. In Windows 10, you do that by right-clicking Start and selecting Device Manager.

The Device Manager in Windows 10. Click on the section that says Universal Serial Bus Controllers. When the listing expands, look for the items marked USB Root Hub. You may see one or several labeled USB Root Hub (xHCI). Those are typically your USB 3.0 ports. Right-click one of the hubs and select Properties. Click the Power Management tab and uncheck Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power. Click OK and you're done.

Uncheck this box to charge other devices in sleep mode. Hope this helps!

    Hello @Balatekie

Thank you for your answer but I don't need that. I want to completely disable power-off USB charging feature, like it is said here in the Quick Access:

As you can see from the picture it's disabled but my devices connected to USB port with the power feature are still getting power after PC shutdown. Also, that Bluelight Shield option doesn't work too. Seems like something is wrong with the app and this model, even that app is downloaded from official support page for my PC:

Maybe someone with the same model (Nitro AN517-41) can confirm that this is working for him?

    Tnx

Uninstall Quick Access you don't need that app for your model laptop, just disable USB Selective suspend in Power Plan:
