Swift 3x SF314-510G noise when using audio jack

Purchased Swift 3x  SF314-510G 6 days ago.
When using audio jack (AUX 3.5) to connect to external speakers there is a constant crackly/pop sound every time I play a new audio/sound file or when speaker has been idle for a minute or so.
Have changed audio settings to various ones including reducing bit rate and sample depth, I have updated RealTek driver and audio console driver via Acer website as suggested in a post here, I have rebooted but nothing is working. Have tried more than one external speaker and aux cable.
Any suggestions appreciated, thanks.

It might be just a matter of waiting for them to update the driver if it's not hardware interference...

Double check to make sure the plug is fully seated. There's a small seal toward the end of the jack and you need to have the plug push past that.

@billsey thanks for your suggestion but this didn't work, the audio jack is in as far as it will go  :/

    Hi Jey9,

Is there any damages on the audio jack cables.

If no damage to the cables check the routing. Is any portion of the cable running parallel to the power? You may be hearing some inductive load...

@Easwar no damage, one of the cables I tried is brand new.

@billsey no the cables are running on opposite sides of the computer.  It seems to be an issue everytime a new audio/video file starts, if I pause the audio and leave it sit for a while it makes the noise again (like it's timing out) then makes the noise when I start the file again.
I have found some other forums where it is discussed and it looks like it is a Realtek driver issue but only in some Acers.....go figure??  I have tried all the work arounds suggested in the other forums but to no avail.

@billsey hopefully you're right.  Also thinking when Windows 11 is released it might help this issue

Yes, Realtek might time a driver update with the W11 release next fall, but I'd try and put pressure on them to get it out sooner than that. They shouldn't need to gate any updates on the Windows update...

Thanks, I will try to contact Realtek and see if I can pressure them into a faster update.
