Hi All,
I am looking at getting one of the
Predator XB273UGS monitors as they seem pretty **** good, however The Acer Website is incredibly confusing /lacking information when trying to look at which Monitor I want and potentially spending around £500, as the Overview page is showing details for what I can see as a completely different Monitor, just the same 'XB3' name reference.
The site shows 2 different versions of the 27"
XB273UGS with different 'Part Numbers', 'UM.HX0EE.S05' (New one) and 'UM.HX0EE.S01' (I assume the Old one).
For Ease, I will refer to the 'UM.HX0EE.S05' as
S05 and the 'UM.HX0EE.S01' as
S01.
The main questions are:
1. Is the
S05 just a newer more update version of the
S01 ?
2. What are the benefits of an
S05 over an
S01?
3. The
S01 says that it's 'Features' are:
- Zero Frame
- EcoDisplay Technology
- 6-axis Color Adjustment
- Wide Viewing Angle
- Flicker-free
- Bluelight Shield
- Low Dimming
- ComfyView
- VESA Display HDR 400
Whereas the
S05 only says 'VESA Display HDR 400'. Does this mean that the
S05 Version is missing the other important features such as
Flicker-free and
Bluelight Shield ?
4. The
S05 only states it has 1xDisplay Port and a Headphone connector. Does this mean it does not have a HDMI port, or any USB ports? I ask as apparently it comes WITH an HDMI cable still.
Thanks to whoever may be able to help with this!
