I just recently bought this chromebook off of ebay knowing it has 32gb of storage but I got a 16gb  version instead, Can I get an m.2 SSD slot installed on my chromebook? I opened up the chromebook to see if there was a removable ssd that I can upgrade but that was a no go. There is however an open spot that I can solder an M.2 SSD slot on to the motherboard but I cant find the right part. Is there a part number that I can look up for the slot that I need?

The onboard storage is an eMMC chip soldered to the MB. Your best bet for more storage is an SD card. You can certainly use a 32GB in there, and very likely much larger...
