    Good luck. Hopefully it's only the connectors that need  a bit of cleaning.

    Maybe, but I doubt it. There were no changes made prior to this happening. No settings changed. Never dropped it. One day it was "just there". Headphones work, mic works, bluetooth speaker works (IF I tap the volume up). That doesn't suggest connectors. But, you never know. I feel something failed/is failing. Thinking about buying the new Acer Predator laptop, which I just saw, in person, yesterday, but that sucker carries a high price tag (approx $1200), and that is too much for me to spend on a "travel laptop", at this time.

    Low-voltage/current connector problems surface more often during seasonal changes from cooler drier to warmer more humid conditions. :)
