Soldered charging port on Acer Swift 3 NXGQUED001?
Hi,
I have an issue With an Acer Swift 3 I bought in 2018. Its a NX.GQUED.001. It beeps when it's connected to the charger and the charging starts and stops randomly.
Took it to a computer repair shop and they said that it's probably the charging port (not sure if that's the correct name in English, but its the hole you put the charger into).
When requesting how much this costs to fix/replace, they said that it depends on whether the charging port is soldered to the motherboard or not. If it isn't it would be about $150 to repair, witch I am willing to pay for to repair a computer that I am other ways happy with even though its 3 years old. If it is soldered they said that it would be 2-3 times or more expensive, witch of course I am not willing to pay and would rather buy a new computer. They said they could open it and look, but that means that it has to be shipped to their workshop witch would take 4-5 days and cost about $100.
Thats why I would very much appreciate if anybody can tell me wether if the power supply is in fact soldered or not?
Thank you!
Best regards from Norway!
