Acer KG241 monitor connected to a Windows 10 Lenovo laptop. I have connected the monitor to the laptop using an HDMI cable. It normally works fine, except when I load specific web pages.
If I load certain web pages, the Second monitor goes blank, and then I eventually get a "no Signal" message on the monitor. If I unplug HDMI, close the web page and plug HDMI back in, I get the connection to the second monitor back. Here is an example of a website that triggers this problem.
https://www.imdb.com/tv/?ref_=helpms_ih_dw_freedive This is NOT a cable problem. I have tried more than one cable. Also, the laptop is sitting right next to the monitor, so it's not the problem with lost signal due to a long poor quality cable. Lastly, this behavior is not consistent with a hardware problem.
Is there a software solution to this problem?
