I've done some research, the nitro 5' bios looks nothing like the msi laptops, is there a separate tool or literally anyway to overclock the rams? because they're running at 2400MHz but the advertised speed is 2666mhz

    Hi,
The speed may have been restricted to 2400MHz by the CPU, could you please post the laptop model name, like AN5xx-xx, memory module model number and the CPU in your laptop.

I removed the odler stick and bought two of Adata ddr4 2666 Pc4-21300, and they're both running in dual channel mode, after checking cpu-z the DRAM is 1197MHz, multiplying it results in what I see in the task manager "2400" and btw, i even tried the older stick with one of the new ones, same result. I know its not that big of a deal but I've seen some fps improvements when jumping to 2666-3200MHz, so please tell me there's a way to overclock them to at least their advertised speed.

No, there's no overclocking feature in this laptop model.
