Acer Nitro 5 shuts down at 60-65°C

My Acer Nitro 5 is shutting down when the CPU reaches 60-65°C. This mostly happens when I am gaming and the charger is pluged in. When the charger is not pluged in the temps stay at about 44-51°C but the fps goes down from 60 to 20 and this is uplayable fps ranges. I have updated all my drivers and I am on the lates bios version. I have also tried to lower the maximum processor state to as low as 50% and it still shuts down. I have watched countless YouTube videos and have been searching for ways to fix it on the internet as well and no luck. I think it is a problem with the settings that limits the temps to protect the cpu, but 65°C is not hot at all when it comes to cpu under load temps.
Please help as I do not know what to do and I am thinking of buying another laptop.

    Hi Easwar,

I just tried this and my drivers were already up to date. I also searched for an updated battery driver on the Acer website with my model number (Nitro AN515-52) but there aren't any for the battery.
  • Try uninstalling the battery and ac adapter drivers through device manager. Check the power adapter with a multimeter. Check if your model has this button:
