Camera not working nitro 5 AN515-43

Hi I am using acer nitro 5 AN515-43 (ryzen 5 GTX 1650) its only a few months old laptop my camera was working fine i did all the troubleshooting like enabled camera in windows privacy settings,reset battery then some how i managed to get hands of same laptop i backed up the camera driver from that laptop and installed it in my laptop(since my device manager is missing camera drive and its also driver is not disabled chacked that too while view hidden devices marked) still no luck.So the last thing i did was i live booted ubuntu and my camera still didnt work there too.my suspicions are now towards hardware fault but seems impossibe to me because i never dropped my laptop also it didn't have a single scratch its a fresh laptop.I also wanna mention that i upgraded my laptop installed nvme ssd and ram upgrade(something to do with that?) help me out please and thank you

We need to determine whether it is a hardware or software issue.   

Click on start - settings - update and security - recovery - reset this pc -   you will see two options  - keep my files and remove everything

Try keep my files first and then check whether camera is working 

Try remove everything as the last step.  

Even after reloading windows if it is still not working then please purchase an external camera and use it.   

You can even try refresh and reset by Clicking on start menu - on search - type reset this pc - you can see the option to reset this pc on the top.  

Before trying the refresh and reset option

Kindly follow the steps given below..

Turn off the laptop. Disconnect or unplug  the charger cable, devices or any other cables connected to your laptop. Close your laptop. Turn it upside down.  On the bottom of the laptop, you can find a  pin hole. It is a tiny hole. You can a find a battery symbol indicator next to the hole. It is like a + and - sign symbol as though somebody is trying to shift the battery out. Insert the pin on to the hole for 30 seconds. Remove the pin. Flip the laptop. Connect the charger cable, turn on the computer.  Only on laptops where the battery is inbuilt you can find the battery reset hole on the back of laptop.

If you dont find a pin hole on the back of laptop then you might be using removable battery. There is no need to unscrew anything to remove the battery.  Turn off the laptop. Disconnect or unplug  the charger cable, devices and any other cables connected to your laptop. Close your laptop. Turn it upside down.  On the bottom of the laptop, please look at the top or bottom depending on the way you look at it. You can find a long door. It is a battery removable door.  Just below that you can find a latch.  If you move the latch you can remove the battery door. Once the battery is removed,  flip the laptop. Open the top cover, press and hold the power button for 1 minute. Connect the battery back on the back of computer. Connect the charger cable back and then turn on the computer. 

While turning on the computer, tap f2. It  will go to bios. Press f9  once. It will show load bios defaults with a yes or no popup. Press enter. Popup screen will disappear.  Press f10 once. It will show save changes popup with yes or no. Press enter. Computer will restart and it will load into windows.  Check whether the camera is working, if it is still not working then try refresh and reset..

1. Hold windows key and hit letter X.
2. Choose the device manager option.
3. Go with the option camera.
4. Under the title camera.

5. Right click on that option ----> Update all driver under the title camera.
6. Choose "search automatically". 

Check this T/S and post the result. ​

there is no camera deiver in device manager even after enabling show hidden devices

thanks for your time but as i mentioned i already did factory reset my machine and about pin hole my machine doesn't have one but i do have non removable battery(Acer nitro 5 ryzen 5 gtx1650)

Has this problem occurred recently after some windows update?
