I can't enter uefi bios (F2 key) after dual booting my Aspire 715-75G.
There was Windows 10 21H1 installed my 500GB nvme SSD. For installing Pop_OS 20.4 LTS I disabled Secure Boot and changed raid with ahci (safe boot + Ctrl S method). Now both the OS are working fine except that I couldn't enter my BIOS Setting. On restarting with my F2 key pressed, all I find is a white underscore on the top left corner of a black screen. :anguished:
Any help?
PS: I have never updated my BIOS.

Its simple, to get into your Aspire A715-75G BIOS you don’t "press the F2 key" as the suggested way of getting into BIOS is through Win-10

So do that first, also see caption below of what “Safe Mode” enabled and disabled descriptions mean to your BIOS of your Aspire A715-75G. Also to update the BIOS versions you have to do it within Win-10 with the provided Acer executable file “FH5VX110.EXE” which is for the last BIOS update so download it from the Acer site, this is the link to that file and the last BIOS update which is the Version: 1.10 Date: 2021/04/08 titled “1. Update Insyde solution for 20H2” and update your BIOS that way, it’s a very simple process but do the followin befor a BIOS update:

    1. Do not disturb and/or turn off the power while BIOS is being update make sure that your power supply is 100% and plugged in,
    2. Turn off your anti virus and anti malware softwares,
    3. Don’t run any software while BIOS is being updated
    4. Make sure that your Win-10 is up to date and has no chance of a BSOD and/or crashing while the BIOS update is executed
Also remember what Acer suggests that “Upgrading your system BIOS incorrectly could harm your Acer product. Please proceed with caution” so be careful as a wrong BIOS update will brick your laptop , good luckand hope this helps.

I'm also facing the same problem but my bios is already updated, does anyone know any other way to fix this?
