Hello,

Im having weird issues with the audio driver on my machine.

The DTS Service is always crashing, which results in the DTS console not working at all.
At least I still have sound.

Nevertheless I would like to use the DTS Panel to adjust settings.

The Panel shows this:

Windows Error Logs show this (its in german but I think the important things are understandable)

Basically the service DtsApo4Service.exe is crashing at the DLL dtscnt64.dll.

If I try to run the service manually it says this:

I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling both drivers (audio driver and dts stuff). That didn't help so I reinstalled Windows 10 which fixed the issue for some reboots until the error reappeared.

I hope someone can help me with this issue.

Which version of the drivers are running? I'm guessing there a ... less than robust one being installed by Windows update. Try rolling it back or look on the developers site for a newer one than what MS is handing out.

    Hi martin2580,

    # Try to update the sound driver

    1. Hold windows key and hit letter X.
    2. Choose the device manager option.
    3. Go with the option sound driver.
    4. Under the title sound driver.
Realtek HD Audio Driver Manager Download For Windows 10 64-bit
    5. Right click on that option ----> Update all driver under the title sound driver.
    6. Choose "search automatically".

Check this T/S and post the result.
