hello everybody,
i have has an aspire nv7-593g black edition (core i7 7700+gx1060),
i am familiar with this model prevalent high temp issue both by my experience with my own laptop and reviewing forums.
as for me, i have had the issue under heavy rendering with cpu temp reaching 88-95c and gpu 87-92c within 10 minutes but without any functionality problem or throttling.
regarding this isuue i had contacted acer several times and had tried using coolpad+ thermal repaste+ undervolting cpu+enabling cooler boost. in my case however, these method havenot given me a considerable response.
yet, as i used my laptop mostly for usual office and light media activity and causual gaming through which i always kept an eye for temps and not heavy use it more than 45 minutes.
HOWEVER, I have recently observed a new pattern with implicatons on functionality.
under heavyload, the gpu temp jumpd out of previous thresholds and within 20 second it reaches above 95c resulting in throttling gpu core from usual 1300-1600 to 200 thus severe fps decrease and impossible gaming, but not laptop autoshutdown.
since this new change i tried these with no success.
1.reinstalling nvidia diver and windows.
2.checking and cleaning ventilation shafts and fans.
3.the fan function and thermal past seemed proper.
i am kind of running out of options and becoming desperate.
my worst fear is a possible defect or damage on mainboard or gpu.
i would appreciate any help and guiding :)=)

    Hi amirfaraz,

    # Try to get the BIOS page.
    1. Turn OFF the unit.
    2. Press and hold the F2 key and turn on the unit.
    3. You will be in setup utility page.
    4. Once you got the screen release the F2 key.
    5. Tap on F9 key and hit enter key without changing the option.
    6. Tap on F10 key and hit enter key without changing the option.
    7. Your unit will restart by itself.

Check this T/S and post the result.
