Does anyone know when the Spin 5 AMD will go on sale?

I was also wondering if the RAM will be user-upgradeable.

I believe they didn't announce delivery dates on those models, but several others were "July" IIRC. Those slim models pretty much all have the ram soldered to the MB to keep the thickness down, so memory upgrades are unlikely. I've go the 10th gen Intel version and the only potential for upgrades are the SSD (I could switch from the 512GB NVMe x2 drive that came stock to a larger, faster NVMe x4 drive) and the WiFi (but it's already WiFi 6, so it'll be a while before I have that need).

Please visit the website support.acer.com - chose your country.     click on shop - Get the details.    You can also contact Acer store .    You can see the phone no on the top right corner of the website and gather more details.

Is this AMD version of the Spin 5 enhanced with antimicrobial silver ions, or is that reserved exclusively for Intel? A full SD card reader would have been better, like the older versions had.

The anti-microbial is dependent on the display surface, not on the processor or motherboard.

Of course the antimicrobial is on the surface, but the antimicrobial surface appears to only be available for models with an Intel CPU inside.

I believe it's more a factor of when the model started assembly in the factory, the newer ones have it, the older do not. Intel/AMD timing is just how it came out, not anything planned.
