I remember being able to talk to acer with chat support despite being out of warranty, I tried checking in today and I can no longer chat.
Another option is "fee-based chat support" will I really get charged just to talk to someone?
I am just looking for acer's tech support to see if I can get my hard drive which has only been used for a year and a half and is beginning to fail which should be under warranty for 2-3 years since it is made by Toshiba. This is their warranty information:
