Hi there everyone, this is my first post here, so please bare with me. I have an "old" Predator G3-605, who'm i got back in 2013-2014.
It has recently started to behave strangely, with BSODs popping up frequently, and the semi well know "watchdog" thing being the error code. Finally my computer just went and died, completely. At least temporarily. It did not respond to anything, even though it was plugged in and had power and all of that. So i unplugged all cables, let it sit undisturbed for an hour or two, crossed my fingers and plugged it in and it started up again.
That's when i decided to do fresh install of Windows 10 Home. I picked the option where it lets you keep your personal files, and let it run it's course. It took some hours, but finally it was done, and i started upon the task of installing drivers and essential programs.
To my surprise, i had a BSOD again, with the same "watchdog" error code, the computer rebooted, and not knowing what to do (Google has not been very helpful at all) i continuted in getting my computer in somewhat working order.
Now to the strange part. In the middle of all this, i can't really remember what i was doing, the screen went entirely green. Just all of it, every pixel, green like the lushest and most well trimmed tennis court you have ever seen. And it stayed that way. It did not respond to commands from either keyboard nor mouse, so after several minutes of this strange green screen (might have been up to 30 minutes), i did a hard reset.
This is where i am at now. I have gotten yet another BSOD after this, same message, and i am starting to feel quite helpless here. I have updated all that i can from Windows Update, I have also updated the necessary drivers from Nvidia (for the GPU) and Intel, but the drivers i manage to find on Acers website when searching using the code on my computer are at least 5 years old, and that does not feel right, so i have not installed any of those yet.
I have a sneaking suspicion that something is amiss with my GPU, since i first enquntered the BSOD while gaming, and that strange green screen sort of points my suspiciouns in that direction as well.
I hope that you excuse my somewhat shoddy grammar, as English is not my first language. I appreciate all the help i can get! Thank you very much!
(I will attack the .txt from my DxDiag in the post, if that is of any help)
