Hi I own an Acer aspire E 15 E5-576-36DE laptop.I am using this for almost 2.5 years and it served very good.But now a days I am facing a new problem with it.When I charge it charges up to 86%.Although I connect the charger for whole day,It remains constant there.After unplugging from the charger I can run this for maximum 4-5 minutes & Suddenly it shuts down....Now what should I do?

{NOTE: I don't use it for any gaming purpose or, any heavy work.}

    You can recalibrate the battery meter so it reads 100% full charge capacity. However, your description suggests that the battery's full 100% charge capacity is only a fraction of its original design full 100% charge capacity. To find out do this.

    Go to the elevated command prompt.  Enter 'powercfg /batteryreport'. Then return to the desktop. Open file explorer. Then search for' battery-report.html' in the c:\windows\system32\ sub-folder. Double-click to open it in the browser. Post screenshot of the first part of the report if possible that compares design full charge capacity with its remaining full charge capacity. Jack E/NJ

    Hi Shakib2072,

    Try to do power drain,

    1. Shutdown the unit.
    2. Unplug the cables connected to the unit.
    3. At bottom of the unit there will be a small tiny pin hole with a battery symbol close to it. Take a pin or a paper clip insert into it you feels like pressing a button hold it for 20-30 seconds.
