Brick/Cord for AN515-55 Making a buzzing noise, laptop doesn't charge

Hi, first time posting here. I've tried looking for similar issues with the laptop I have, but I haven't seen any yet.
I have an acer nitro 5 an515-55 and this morning it stopped charging. I at first thought it was an issue with how I plugged it in/the sockets I used, but it didn't charge. I then noticed there a buzzing noise at the "brick" part of the charger which went on for about half a second. It also charged the laptop for the same time, and then it stopped. I'm still a little hesitant about doing anything before I decide to buy replacements, is this just a charger issue? Is there a way I can still fix it before buying anything? Could there also be something wrong with the battery? Thanks in advance.

Is your electrical outlet grounded? Does the same problem occur when plugging into another outlet? Can you test the power adapter with a multimeter?

Are you getting any light indication when charger is connected.

The outlets are grounded. I've tried different sockets but no luck, same thing happens. I unfortunately don't have a multimeter.

Yeah, while the charger makes the buzzing noise, the light indicator does show up. However, when the buzzing stops (after half a second) the light disappears too.
