acer laptop wont start up past certain screen - swift SF114-32

i have an acer swift SF114-32 and earlier this year it stopped being able to turn on. at this point all i can get it to do when i try to power it on is it will first go to the acer loading screen and say "preparing automatic repair" before going to another loading screen which says "working on updates" and will appear to be loading but will only go up by a small percentage before the screen goes black again and i get stuck in the same loop every time i try to power it on. No solutions I've found online have done anything so far because i can't get far enough to try anything besides powering it on. before this point my laptop used to shut off randomly but i could get it back on with no issue until it stopped working completely. id appreciate any input i can get. thanks

First step is to make sure the computer itself is working OK. Boot into the BIOS and wander around for longer than it takes to crash during a normal boot. If everything is still working OK the issue is more likely with the Windows install. For that you'll want to generate a Windows install flash drive and boot from it to run repair tasks on the system drive. Some models of the SF114-32 have an eMMC drive (usually 64GB) in them, some have a drive on an M.2 slot (128GB or 256GB). If you have the eMMC and it has failed there's no fix other than putting a new drive into the M.2 slot and no longer using the eMMC. If an M.2 drive has failed it's an easy replacement. Most likely you just have some corrupted Windows files though and the drive is fine.

Most of the issues are getting fixed by doing a power drain test and bios defaults

Kindly follow the steps given below..

Turn off the laptop. Disconnect or unplug the charger cable, devices or any other cables connected to your laptop. Close your laptop. Turn it upside down. On the bottom of the laptop, you can find a pin hole. It is a tiny hole. You can a find a battery symbol indicator next to the hole. It is like a + and - sign symbol as though somebody is trying to shift the battery out. Insert the pin on to the hole for 30 seconds. Remove the pin. Flip the laptop. Connect the charger cable, turn on the computer. Only on laptops where the battery is inbuilt you can find the battery reset hole on the back of laptop.

If you dont find a pin hole on the back of laptop then you might be using removable battery. There is no need to unscrew anything to remove the battery. Turn off the laptop. Disconnect or unplug the charger cable, devices and any other cables connected to your laptop. Close your laptop. Turn it upside down. On the bottom of the laptop, please look at the top or bottom depending on the way you look at it. You can find a long door. It is a battery removable door. Just below that you can find a latch. If you move the latch you can remove the battery door. Once the battery is removed, flip the laptop. Open the top cover, press and hold the power button for 1 minute. Connect the battery back on the back of computer. Connect the charger cable back and then turn on the computer.

While turning on the computer, tap f2. It will go to bios. Press f9 once. It will show load bios defaults with a yes or no popup. Press enter. Popup screen will disappear. Press f10 once. It will show save changes popup with yes or no. Press enter. Computer will restart and it will load into windows.

Note: If it is going to automatic repair , diagnosing your pc , Kindly check whether you are getting Restart and advanced options. If you are getting restart and advanced options, you need to click on advanced options to go to Use a device, troubleshoot advanced options. It is repair mode where we can try system restore and other repair options
