SP314-53N Laptop NVMe installation with Windows 10
Hello all, I have a SP314-53N with a faulty NVMe drive which I have replaced. The new drive is a Crucial P1 M.2 1TB. Looking at the part No of the SSD, Crucial indicate that this drive is compatible with the M/Board. I downloaded the latest WIN10 image from Microsoft and reinstalled Windows. When windows loads I loose all keyboard functionality/ operation. I have it in BIOS but not in the operation system and not in Safe mode. Loaded ALL drivers from the ACER support website but no help. I have been through lots of drive checks and Windows update but no luck. Because it works in BIOS I think it is something to do with the a driver but the ACER drivers do not help. Second issues is the Mouse PAD. When I load Intels HID driver from the ACER web site the mouse pad stops working. Again there are NO errors in Windows. Uninstall the HID driver and the mouse pad works. Currently Device manager is only showing one device not installed which is a Serial Device, all others are reporting correctly. What have I missed? Are there other drivers required? Thanks, Paul
