I have a Nitro 5 AN515-53-55G9. It has an internal hard ssd drive (not the sata expansion slot)

How can you go about upgrading this small ssd drive. i am not sure what the interface is called but it looks similar to a memory stick. I have a sata expansion slot and can put a spare drive in there but the main drive is almost full, with only 17 gig os space free in a 256 gig drive. Tried moving files to a sd card but still not enough space left. Not sure what is taking up that space. I went to the apps list and removed all i could by larger to smaller sizes but still need more space. Want to upgrade it. Is it simply just removing the bottom half and removing that other drive and replacing it? I have tools for sata but not for the funny interface this is. Thanks for any help

The one that sits near the ram sticks? It is a M.2 2280 SSD. It is only held by a small Philip screw. How to upgrade the SSD in your Acer Nitro 5 Windows Central
