If the keyboard controls no longer work as anhez28 says, it sounds like a broken backlight, if you shine a bright light up the screen can you see it better?

    Hi Darkredomo,

Try to Hard reset your Chromebook
    1. Turn off your Chromebook.
    2. Press and hold Refresh + tap Power .
    3. When your Chromebook starts up, release Refresh.

@Darkredomo Leostat was saying that if the keyboard controls for brightness (some have keyboard controls for changing screen brightness, some do not) do not work then the issue is likely the backlight on the screen is no longer working. You should answer the question about the brightness controls and shining a flashlight on the screen at an angle to help determine if that is the issue.
