After changed something in BIOS the laptop won't start anymore. I would like to know how to make a bootable usb with an up-to-date bios version. I have been searcing the solution for this for 2 days but i didn't find any solution for my 572g-3778. I have just downloaded the latest BIOS update for my laptop from the official ACER site. It is an exe file and don't know what to do. It contains a WAV and EXE, DLL, SYS, INI files. Could someone help me?

Did you actually enter the BIOS menu with the F2 key on startup?

That's no longer how you reinstall Windows. We'll get to that later.  Try the simple things first. Press the FN+F6 combo to try to turn the lid screen on.

i got what you said .. the combination of turning screen on/off. The problem is something else. My laptop hasn't got screen, i use with external monitor using hdmi/vga.

Can you access the BIOS menu with the external monitor with the F2 key on startup?

No. As i mentioned it has a black screen no logos nothing. The more strange this is the fan which turns on for 10 seconds and shuts down after but like when the laptop is off. Absolutly no sound at all.

No. It doesn't even recognize that something is connected. I mean it behaves like you are not moving mouse for 10 mins or smth. Could we talk on a realtime chat or some another way? It will last long this way to solve the problem.

@egydiocoelho  I asked the same question. His answer KrasznaiKevin>>>I  dont know i heard about bad saving stuffs which can cause bios problem and black screen but this is never happened to me so i don't know what to do>>>

It's as if the integrated GPU was either disabled or failed.

    Hi KrasznaiKevin,

    # Try to get the BIOS page.
    1. Turn OFF the unit.
    2. Press and hold the F2 key and turn on the unit.
    3. You will be in setup utility page.
    4. Once you got the screen release the F2 key.
    5. Tap on F9 key and hit enter key without changing the option.
    6. Tap on F10 key and hit enter key without changing the option.
    7. Your unit will restart by itself.

Check this T/S and post the result.

Usually not a hardware failure if you only changed something in an unmodified factory BIOS firmware menu. This looks more like a CPU/GPU failure due to overheating, a power surge, or mainboard short circuit.
