I have a Swift SF514-52T. I am planning to install another SSD.
I've searched the spec, and it seems M2.2280 would work properly on it.
My question is, whether other type including NVMe and PCIe can also work?
Thank you!

I have an Acer swift 5 sf514-52t laptop and have seen some references to this model but with additional digits like -59zv at end. What are these extra digits for and should I be quoting them when searching for info about my laptop?

Those last few digits define the actual SKU, so include options for the model line like drive size, CPU installed, memory, language, etc.. In most cases they are only needed if you don't give us the full spec.. So you might say SF514-52T with i7-8550U, 8GB memory, 512GB SATA SSD and English UK instead of adding the last four in.

It depends on what laptop you have. This thread is for the SF514-52T series from late 2018. In those models you can install a NVMe 4.0 drive, but it will run at the PCIe 3.0 speeds, since that is what the design supports. Unless the 4.0 drive is cheaper than a 3.0 drive, you should stick with the 3.0.
