forgot to mention, it does turn back on if I keep pressing the power button although not sure if its necessary. But surprising holding down the power button won't force it to shut down

I did that just several minutes ago, but I'll update if it still persists

does that mean I can't have the Backlit Timeout disabled? because that's the only configuration I ever did, I disabled it months before this problem ever even occurred

I shouldn't have to do that, but since mine had been sent to Acer's repair division and they updated the BIOS to the latest one (Not much of a problem because I can just disable the Timeout for the Backlit within the BIOS)

here's the follow up, the problem will stop if I don't let the Backlit light up for some amount of time (it varies from time to time)

After a few days right after using your solution it stopped, the Display won't randomly turn off with the Backlit. So I then went back to disable the Backlit time out setting. The problem comes back, only if I let the Backlit Keyboard light up for some amount of time (usually up to several hours). But then if I just not turn on the Backlit the problem won't occur.

I have no idea what's causing this
