Do you have a non-Microsoft  antivirus program running? Jack E/NJ

Hello! When I right-clicked on that option I do not see an Update all Drivers under. Do you mean to update the two options under "Batteries?"

Please disable or better yet completely uninstall MalwareBytes!  Windows Defender & Malicious software removal tool makes MalwareBytes nearly obsolete. MalwareBytes  may be preventing the restore point from working. Try the restore point again after removing MalwareBytes.

    Update as of 5/28/21:

The Waking up issue has been fixed! After rolling back from the GPU update, and updating every driver, I can now close the lid and open it with the screen waking up immediately. I don't even have to press a button. However, this just sets me back to the original problem I did have before that caused me to update, which was the freezing of the entire laptop when playing a game. I'm worried it's a corrupted GPU or it just simply can't handle the game? I haven't tested this out with other games as of yet but I am concerned. Is the Intel iRISx Graphics weak/bad?

A huge thank you to everyone! I'm relieved.

As I mentioned to you this past Monday, the old game software vs new Win10 operating system may be an incompatiblity issue that results in the side effect! It may not be fixable if the game software developers don't  update the game for the Win10 operating system. You have now done the best way to rule out a hardware issue by using  the restore point. The side effect disappears as predicted. You can now assume that it's an old-ish game software issue with Win10. It is NOT a hardware issue. You must now decide if you want put up with the side effect of the generic Intel driver by re-installing it in order to play this old-ish game.

I also have this issue but have not changed anything on my machine.  I just purchased it and received it this week.  After closing the lid and letting the machine sit for a few minutes the screen will NOT turn on unless I press the power button for 10+ seconds.  The keyboard lights up as if it is coming to life but the screen NEVER turns on...  A515-56T
