My laptop "crashes" or "freezes" when I close the lid and open it. Acer Nitro 5 AN515-53

Hello there I have an Acer Nitro 5 AN515-53 that I got back in 2019. Everything about it is working out find except for one problem that I have been running into for a while. Whenever I close the laptop's lid the laptop doesn't go to sleep properly. The keyboard backlight stays on (it turns off after 30 seconds of inactivity) and the laptop gets hot while the screen is off. So when it goes hot the fans start running even though it's supposed to be in sleep mode and it doesn't wake up I'd have to turn it off by holding down the power button and turn it back on again. I use throttlestop to undervolt the CPU and keep the turbo to 3.8. The laptop is set to High Performance mode and I always use it while plugged in. The problem is still there even if it's not plugged in. So what can I do to fix it? It's not always like this sometimes when I close the lid it goes to sleep normally and wakes up when I open it but the problem is very common still. Thanks

Try to change the sleep settings in the system option in settings window.

# Try to get the BIOS page.

1. Turn OFF the unit.

2. Press and hold the F2 key and turn on the unit.
3. You will be in setup utility page.
4. Once you got the screen release the F2 key.
5. Tap on F9 key and hit enter key without changing the option.
6. Tap on F10 key and hit enter key without changing the option.
7. Your unit will restart by itself.

It's a BIOS default. It performs a POST (power-on self-test), initializes your hardware, and passes control to the boot loader on a connected device.

So does it change anything in the power options or anything like that?
