The Acer Customer Self Service Portal is Broken and so is my Camera Swift 3

Hi, I'm an IT engineer and I bought my mother this Acer Swift 3 for Christmas and I regret it. A few months in and the camera has stopped working. I've tried all the software troubleshooting, updating firmware, drivers (for which there isn't even an independent one for the camera). Camera privacy settings are not set to disable it. Camera application will turn on the LED but no image is displayed. Tried the thumb over the camera trick. Tried disabling, restarting, enabling. WIA service is started.

The Acer Care application led me to a CustomerSelfService portal that refuses to take your SNID or SN, it just keeps telling you where it's located when you hit enter here: CustomerSelfService (acer.com) and there's no OK button. Just lovely. Where do I go to actually get help, as it's obviously that there is a hardware issue with this device?

    After putting in your SN, type in the verification code from the right picture and the magnifying glass.
