Hey Guys,
Sorry if this has asked a lot of times, I couldn't get a proper answer.

I'd like to get a USB-C charger to charge both my phone and my Acer Spin 5.

I've seen this charger can deliver 20V 3a (https://www.amazon.com/AUKEY-Charger-Dynamic-Delivery-Compatible/dp/B07V2Z6WFN).
However, the standard Acer Spin 5 charger delivers 19V 2.37a.

Do you think that's safe to charge my Spin 5 via the 60w usb-c charger I've linked?
Or should I get the Acer one?

Thank you

Its boarderline so should work, the marketing i think is being a bit cheaky, it claims "max 60w" but i think this is overcurrent over both USB ports not just on the USBc. The USBc is rated for 45w which should be enough if it can hit it consistantly.

If not may want to step upto the 60watt over USBc model ( PA-B3 )

Anything under 45W at 20V will likely just let you either hold the charge, or lose charge slower than not charging. It will still work and the battery life on your Spin is long enough that a slow discharge is still going to give you a lot of use.

Thank you for your suggestions! I'll definitely be more careful in which charger actually complies with the power requirements I need, as the one you've linked.

That's exactly what happens with my 30W phone carger: the battery is actually charging, as long as you keep the Spin off.
This is obviously not a solution, that's why I'm looking for a beefier charger!

So you guys think that a "proper" 20V usb-c charger will not "fry" my Spin, right?
I'm asking this because the charger bundled with my PC is actually 19V, not 20V.
Is the Spin usb-c port PD compliant?

Thank you for your very kind replies.

DC in is rated between 15 and 20v so you're golden :)
