Hi folks,

I just installed my brand new Samsung SSD 980 Pro (PCIe 4.0 NVME M.2) in my Acer Predator G9-793.
I also replaced the original mechanical Hitachi HDD 1To by a 2 To Samsung SSD 870 EVO

After a difficult system cloning, all seems working fine BUT : the 980Pro temperature is very high even at the very start... around 50°C and more (120/125 F).
The other SSD drive temperature is around 25°C (60 F) and even the processor's temperature is lower than the 980Pro's one, around 40°C (100 F).

Did someone observed this before ?
There is a constant Samsung Magician's warning about this SSD high temperatures, and I'm affraid this could alterate performance et durability of the drive.

Feel free to share experience and advices about this situation.

All the best !
