PO3-600-UR18 Core i9 9900 Upgrade

Hello English community, I own a PO3-600 UR18 for a time now it is fully Upgraded with a 700w Evga PSU a CoolerMaster TX3 Evo and a Be Quiet Exhaust Fan Now, I want to take it a step further and Install a core i9 9900 In It Is It At All Possible? Anyone Did this? If Yes Reply.

    Id be supprised if the 9900 would be supported, they can be very power hungry! User benchmark is my goto place :) most peeps go with a 9700 https://www.userbenchmark.com/System/Acer-Predator-PO3-600/94846

    The problem is I already have a i7 9700 and want a i9 9900 technically it is, because B360 supports it right?

    Yes, I would expect it to work. Just stay away from the K models unless you are going to be doing somethign with the cooling system.

    What do you do with your PC? What will run that much better/faster after this upgrade? As far as I know, 9700K is still a very good gaming CPU. One thing that speaks for 9900 is that it has hyperthreading, though. If that is what your workload needs, it might be worth a try (although I'd personally build a new system in this case).

    Depending on your GPU, resolution and target FPS, 9700 is still very capable processor.
